![]() Welcome to Geocaching OSJ style! Wanna Play? Well here what you do! Above you will see the cache that I created. I will be placing this cache somewhere on March 1st ( coordinates will be on message #2) You will need to use those coordinates to figure out where it is and go find it. Inside will be a log book, and three small items. You must sign the book and take one of the items from the box. You than must take a photo of your bike with the cache and item together. Then carefully put it back where you found it. Now for the twist...If you are the 3rd person to find the box (which means you take the last item) your responsibility is different. You MUST take the cache with you and place it somewhere else in New England. You also are required to place 3 new items in the box for the next group of people. You still post up a photo of the cache and your bike but you must announce you now have the cache and its in play. You have up to one week to find a new location for it. Once you do you than post up the gps coordinates for the location. I will then add them to the second post. At the end of one calendar year the person with the most moves and the one with the most items will win a OSJ treasure hunt T-shirt. Now some rules must be followed with placing a Geocache. Our item is not terribly small so someone else may find it. I have my phone number and email address all over it so hopefully if that happens it will get returned to me. The first rule is it must be in New England, and please dont endanger yourself when you place it somewhere. This is meant to be a fun game, dont do something stupid. Also try to place it where you can park your motorcycle close by. Many people with GPS's on the bike are not battery operated so they will not be able to walk 1/2 mile into the woods to located it. So here is what you are looking for, go out and find it! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Great idea OSJ.
Is it possible to play without a GPS? I am far too cheap to purchase a GPS. Plus I wouldn't even know which GPS units are good to buy even if I wasn't cheap. -------------------- |
